Laura Wright, Carly Spencer, General Hospital, GH, The Jennifer Hudson Show, Jennifer Hudson

On the Wednesday, February 5 episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” “General Hospital” stars Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos), Tanisha Harper (Jordan Ashford), Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain), Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford) and Laura Wright (Carly Spencer) appeared for the first time to discuss the current 62nd season of the daytime drama series.

Part of their appearance included a trivia game where the cast was asked several questions, particularly those relating to their characters, including which of them have had an evil twin (Mathison and Hughes answered the affirmative), suffered from amnesia (Benard, referring to the Mike storyline), has had a long lost family member show up (five out of the six actors responded yes), has been slapped or has done the slapping (again, five of the six raised their hands), or has divorced someone sitting on the show (four of six raised their hands).

In terms of slapping scenes, Wright shared a trick of the trade with Hudson, saying, “You can be a foot away, you miss them by a mile… [as long as] the cameras are set up right and you sell it, [but] you’ve gotta sell it though – the person taking the hit has to sell it.
