I wouldn’t say that. He was being protective of his sister by calling Diane over but he didn’t suddenly turn into a Sonny cape defender or betray his badge. I really liked seeing him and Chase at odds though and Chase in serious cop mode was the most interesting he’s been IMO, I hope they play their dynamic more like this.

I enjoyed todays show. I hate that Carly is back tangled in Sonny’s web of murder so I’m glad Sam went in on her. Sam vs Carly is such a rich dynamic and I’m sad they barely scratched the surface of reigniting it all year but today was a great showing at least. Good digs of truth from both sides and I had to laugh at them doing all that arguing in front of comatose Lulu

Curious how Molly and Martin (no Tad) think they could ever put enough pressure to get Carly to crack

Jordan and Isaiah discussing her grief over Irene was nice to see. Also enjoyed her scenes with Alexis even though she accepted her explanation for filing the custody paperwork for Kristina way too quickly for my liking.

Kristina and Sonny’s scenes talking about mental health were nice but he lost me at the end with the talk around the bush in regards to killing Jagger. This story has zapped away any redeeming qualities I still saw for him.

Finally some real movement with operation Save Our Spencers. I liked Anna and Jason trolling Sidwell and him getting to the bottom of Holly’s connection to all of them but him making everybody play a poker game for freedom as the cliffhanger was so damn lame lol. We better get a good action sequence when they finally make their escape.

The show is in a real low point right now, perhaps the lowest of the year. Sonny killing Jagger in cold blood is in such incredibly bad taste, and the return of Lucky has been awful. This after the return of Jason being botched and, with the way it non- ended, turning into one of the worst stories in a long time.

They need to reverse Sonny killing Jagger. Have it be that Sonny shot him with tranqs and is keeping him prisioner somewhere. The star character of a soap shouldn't be an irredeemable monster. This is supposed to be escapist entertainment, not real life.

Not sure this would really help the situation!

If Sonny murdering A.J. or shooting his pregnant wife in the head didn't get him thrown off the show, there is zero chance that 'killing'* the mediocre country-western recast of Antonio Sabato Jr. who didn't last nine months on-camera is going to be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

(* - besides, I highly doubt he will end up being the one who really murdered Wagger anyway. They have no room to maneuver if Sonny killed a fed in cold blood.)

Was not expecting that Jason and Anna kiss

I love their chemistry together so I’m not mad at all but that look Jason gave right before makes me think it was a fake out for the guards. Anna and Holly got some great scenes talking about Robert and we finally got some decent action started with Sidwell fighting over a gun with Holly and Lucky after yet another boring poker game. Please let Friday be the wrap up to all of this.

Good scenes with Tracy and Stella talking about loss of loved ones but I need Tracy to get a better storyline than moping over wack ass Cody and Sasha.

I’m glad Ned is on Drew’s ass and James told him about Willow crying over kissing her Uncle in law. It feels like this regime wants to protect Willow and Michael’s saintly Facebook stanbase and won’t allow her and Drew to have a real steamy affair and its keeping this story from reaching max potential. Now she keeps playing Ms Morale and Drew continues to just look like a creep. I’m over it.

    • Jonathan Kellerman is definitely the most EON/Slesar-like writer in the business right now.  Unfortunately, he's almost 80 years old.  Interestingly, he has a son (Jesse Kellerman) who's about 45, who's been studying under him.  I believe what makes the Kellermans such effective mystery & crime writers is their background in psychology.
    • I never understood the point of Marchetti. Summer left the show for a job there in Italy. OK. When she returned they had Jack buy the company. Why couldn't Summer have returned and simply stated it was not a good fit, she missed her home , family/friends etc It was absurd that this internationally successful fashion empire could just be bought by a US cosmetics firm at the drop of a hat. What was the point when they never did anything with it at all? Summer simply could have gone to work at Jabot. And wasn't there some nonsense about an offshhoot called Marchetti Home? Was Phyllis attached to that at some point? This show...

    • Haven't seen today's ep yet but so will be interested to see the clothes. So far I think they have been very character specific (even if I don't like some of them eg Kat's cutsie style) Anita is very showy/glittery, Nicole classic elegance, Dani sexy/bold colors etc. Unlike Y&R which seems much more generic. Also BTG pays attention to the men's wardrobe and has developed a style for the boyz-which is harder to do with male fashion. The absence of any of Derek/Ashley at any of these big events again demonstrates how they are in a different universe to the rest of the show. Not that a nurse and a fireman would be there but still they seem destined at this point to stay in their own lane and have little interaction with the core of the show.
    • Agnes had written for Bernard Grant for many years on TGL as well as Ernest Graves and Joe Gallison,Doris Belack,Robert Milli, and  Antony Ponzini at AW. So she would probably gravitate to writing a role with an actor in mind or choosing someone she had written for before who she knew could deliver.
    • Once Johnny Dallas' cut himself off from Laurie Ann Karr and their son, and once Laurie successfully recovered from her mental problems, she wanted a new, fresh, and healthy start for the next chapter of her life. She legally reverted her name and changed John Victor's  surname to Karr. After moving to the country (when Teri  Keane was dropped from the show), Bill and Martha Marceau legally adopted Jennifer, the baby girl whom they had earlier taken in when the child's biological mother, Taffy Simms (and other bio family members) proved to be unfit to raise her. Jennifer legally and emotionally became a Marceau, and gave that name to her own daughter, whom Jennifer birthed through surrogacy as a single parent. Et...voila! The Karr and Marceau legacies live on.

    • BLQ is having second thoughts regarding putting her baby up for adoption. Chase is upset he can't tell Dante. So both are putting this on at lulus feet. Saying she is holding it over them. Lulu is doing none of this.
    • Yes she absolutely was involved in that story which seems to have gone nowhere.  She didn't start to remove herself from the writing until 1973.
