And that was her point: it would've have made sense, age-wise, even in the age of SORAS.

None at all.  The misogynistic writing Claudia/SJB had to deal with was awful.

I googled it and it says he raped her by blackmailing into sex!

Welp. 🤷‍♀️ You should have googled it before you asked on here lol.

Yup, and it's part of why she chose to leave. It wasn't what she signed up for.

The whole story was dark.  Claudia was basically used as an underaged sex toy passed around by her dad to appease his colleagues.

The way Sonny treated her was disgusting. And she kept coming back for more.

The Ric/Claudia stuff is murky to me.  On one hand, he did blackmail her to continue the relationship.  On the other hand she almost killed Michael.   Claudia could have said no and Ric would have exposed her for the criminal act of almost MUDERING a child.  Was it consensual?  Not really.  I saw it more as two awful people doing awful things to get what they both wanted.  The show never played it as rape.  Very Guza circa 2009.  None of this would fly post 2020.

I find Ric to be a complete sleaze.  I see Claudia as more a victim of her own upbringing and circumstance.  It still doesn't make her a great person.

"What did you call me daughter?"  Love all the drama that this dead baby is bringing. I'm not anyone's side because I feel for both of them.  I don't see Kristina has being "destroyed" at all.  I really liked her speech in the church.  But I also really Molly blaming Kristina for the death of the baby.  Molly vs Kristina is the best thing on soaps right now.  Can't wait to watch tomorrow's episode.

While a dark storyline... had it been told properly, it could have been very, very compelling.

If they weren't so hyper focused on re-pairing her with Sonny the show could have done so much with the character.  SJB has chemistry with everyone and could have made it amazing.  Ugh....I feel like SJB might have the most "wasted oppurtunity" roles in all of soaps-outside of OG Carly, of course.

Me, I blame Alexis. At the very first sign of Kristina becoming over attached to that baby, she should have suggested Kristina see a counselor explaining to her that if she got too attached it was gonna hurt like hell in the end.

I agree. The show has been riveting since CVE has been  back as co- head writer. Coincidence?

I've always thought the majority of the Chris/Dan tenure was fantastic.  There was always something happening and there was never one set of characters that dominated the show.  They had a good rotation.  So I don't think it's a surprise to see the show blazing (;)) hot ever since Chris was first credited.  He actually knows how to write excellent tags and knows how important it is to have scenes carry over to the next episode.  I'm so happy he's back.

Understandable.  I barely watched it one time and I was thinking how the show presented it.  If I watched it today (and I won't lol) I'd probably have a different interpretation.

Oh, no, I had to read that twice. At first I thought you said he was a hack.

I forgot about that... played Rick Hearst's brother... woof. I'd like her on Restless as Jennifer Foster or someone worthwhile. Or going to The Gates if she were up for relocating again.

I am hoping it was RH's sister?  Lol.  I love a cute typo.  But they both were wasted as characters.  B&B likes to do that.

SJB's daughter would be an adult now?  So she could relocate.  Obviously, it's not as easy as me just saying that, but it's possible.
