As expected, the recently rebranded Peacock Place (formerly known as Xbox Plaza) at L.A. LIVE will be the home of “A Day of DAYS” when the annual fan event celebrating the daytime drama series “Days of our Lives” returns on Saturday, October 21, marking the second year in a row the event will be taking place at the location.

Beginning at 10:00 a.m. PT, the complimentary event will offer “Days of our Lives” fans the opportunity to meet their favorite cast members from the drama series in person and participate in autograph signings, a Q&A session with the cast, and much more throughout the day.

During the Q&A, fans will learn some interesting facts from the cast and creators with behind-the-scenes stories about one of television’s longest-running programs, which recently transitioned from broadcast to streaming with its move to Peacock.

A list of cast members set to participate in this year’s festivities had not been released at press time.

Although the event is free and open to the public, organizers are asking fans to sign up to confirm attendance by visiting peacockdayofdays.com or clicking here. Remember that entry is first come, first served, and dependent on venue capacity.

Since 2022, Peacock has been the exclusive home of “Days of our Lives,” making it the ultimate destination for daytime fans to access episodes from the past season, all-new episodes, and the Peacock Originals “Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem” and holiday special “Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas” all in one place. Now in its 59th season and renewed through its 60th season, fans can stream the iconic soap anytime, including a special set of episodes featuring the iconic Dick Van Dyke (“The Dick Van Dyke Show”) set to begin airing later this week only on Peacock.

For all information about “Day of DAYS” and “Days of our Lives,” visit the show’s official Facebook page.

Prior to 2022, Universal Studios Hollywood’s CityWalk had been the venue of choice for “A Day of DAYS,” which began in 2008 to celebrate one of television’s longest-running series. The event went virtual in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. Events were pre-recorded.

    • @DRW50 Thanks for these. I had a procedure on my eyes and was just okayed for limited screen time the other day, but it is in short periods until Tuesday, when the doctor clears me.  I'll be adding in bits here and there, but Hoppers will be "hopping" after that. Upcoming: Rest in Peace, Denise Alexander, Ruth Buzzi and Priscilla Pointer Updating:   Max Gail, @Xanthe -- Will Lyman, who was lost in the shuffle a year ago, but his update from last year will be typed up;  New: Michelle Hurd and Shanola Hampton and others I'll b updating the edit-able profiles, too.

The shoulders and sleeves are too tight. He'd benefit from a larger size. The yellow arrows show where the shoulder cut should actually be placed in my opinion. I don't mind the granpa fashion per se, I just have an OCD with sizes LOL
    • Today May 11, 2025, Pope Leo briefly addressed the crowd in the square.  He sang the prayer to Mary and then said:   Dear brothers and sisters, The immense tragedy of the Second World War ended eighty years ago, on 8 May, after having claimed sixty million victims. In today’s dramatic scenario of a piecemeal third world war, as Pope Francis stated many times, I too address the world’s leaders, repeating the ever-timely appeal: “Never again war!”. I carry in my heart the sufferings of the beloved Ukrainian people. May everything possible be done to reach an authentic, just and lasting peace, as soon as possible. Let all the prisoners be freed and the children return to their own families. I am deeply saddened by what is happening in the Gaza Strip: may there be an immediate ceasefire! Let humanitarian aid be provided to the stricken civil population, and let all the hostages be freed. On the other hand, I have welcomed with satisfaction the announcement of the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, and I hope that through the upcoming negotiations, a lasting accord may be reached soon. https://www.vatican.va/content/leo-xiv/en/angelus/2025/documents/20250511-regina-caeli.html
    • Lol! I'm quite sure it would.
    • But that is pretty much situation normal for all soaps. They do not tend to continue to show things like surgical scars. They also play fast & loose with hospital procedures.
    • re: prior two posts about Trump's new opulent plane contrasted with utter starvation in Gaza... Trump and Netanyahu are giving "Let them eat cake".  And it's horrific. In 2013, Pope Francis removed a bishop from running the Limburg Germany diocese because he was constructing an opulent 31-million-euro building. This is from Reuters obit of Francis: https://www.reuters.com/world/obituary-pope-francis-shook-up-church-with-simplicity-raising-conservative-ire-2025-04-21/ From the start, Francis sent clear signals to priests and bishops about the type of Church he wanted. He said there was no room for "careerists or social climbers" among the clergy, told cardinals they should not live "like princes," and said the Church should not "dissect theology" in lush salons while there were poor people around the corner. "If investments in banks fall, it is a tragedy and people say 'what are we going to do?' but if people die of hunger, have nothing to eat or suffer from poor health, that's nothing. This is our crisis today. A Church that is poor and for the poor has to fight this mentality," he said early in his papacy. -- Pope Francis stood up for the poor, the unhoused, the migrants of all faiths.  He lived simply and ordered that when he died, that he wished to be interred in a simple wooden coffin. I sincerely hope that the new pope Leo will follow Francis' example.
    • Co Sign!!!!   I have been watching the show regularly over the last few weeks and am pleasantly surprised by how much easier it is to watch each day. This definitely is confirmation for me that Paula and Jeanne wrote the stroke episodes, cause I felt the same way watching those. Could be more exciting for sure, but interactions now make more sense and everything seems to be a bit more character driven which is great. I will add though, there are still about 10 or so characters i'd love to see gone, and hope a few will exit in the future! Otherwise, happy with the changes so far.
