ARTICLE: ‘General Hospital’ to be Preempted for Major League Baseball Wild Card Game Coverage

On Friday, October 7, “General Hospital” will be preempted due to ESPN on ABC sports game one coverage of the Major League Baseball Wild Card Series (teams TBD).

“GMA3: What You Need to Know” will air at its regularly scheduled time (1:00 p.m. ET) on the East Coast but will be preempted on the West Coast.

The Wild Card game is scheduled to begin promptly at 2:00 p.m. ET and run through at least 5:00 p.m. ET, barring any overtime games, and will preempt local programming/local news coverage.
