ARTICLE: Daytime Broadcast Ratings for the Week of July 11-15, 2022

Due to recent scheduling conflicts, the weekly Daytime Broadcast ratings reports have been delayed. Regular postings will return today, Tuesday, July 26. In the meantime, we continue to post the previous week’s ratings. Here are the numbers for the week of July 11-15, 2022.

After airing a full week of reruns one week earlier, “The View” (2.158 million) came roaring back, gaining +706,000 viewers week to week. The talk show was down -108,000 viewers year to year, however. Meanwhile, “The Talk” (1.443 million) gained +36,000 viewers week to week and a whopping +196,000 viewers compared to the same week last year. The show was also up from its comparable week in 2020, gaining +158,000 viewers.

Despite losing viewers week to week, “Days of our Lives” (1.650 million) was the only scripted series to see an increase in viewers compared to the same week last year. “The Young and the Restless” (3.279 million), “The Bold and the Beautiful” (2.954 million) and “General Hospital” (2.047 million) were each down week to week and year to year in Total Viewers.

Game shows “The Price is Right (3.807 million / 4.281 million) and “Let’s Make a Deal” (2.321 million / 2.716 million) each aired a full week’s worth of reruns. Compared to the same week last year, “The Price is Right” was up +76,000 and +67,000 viewers, respectively, while “Let’s Make a Deal” was up week to week, gaining +53,000 and +92,000 viewers, respectively.

“TODAY with Hoda & Jenna” (1.373 million) continued its streak as the least watched daytime broadcast series while “TODAY 3rd Hour” (1.855 million) remained under the two million viewer mark.

What follows is a breakdown of how the daytime broadcast shows performed during the week of July 11-15 2022 in Women 18-49 rating, Women 25-54 rating, Households and Total Viewers, including a look at their comparable performance in 2021 and 2020, respectively. Comparable 2020 figures for “General Hospital” will return in August as the show aired reruns for most of the summer that year and was not rated (NR) by Nielsen.
