I am very skeptical about this without Craven or a script from Williamson, and I think Scream 4 was the best in the series tbh. But it looks fun so I'll show up. Nothing is worse than Scream 3.

Mines too! Sidney is Iconic. 

I thought it was well done, but unfortunately the new lead leaves a lot to be desired. She doesn't have near enough talent or charisma in general and especially compared to Neve Campbell.

Oh and I convinced myself Dylan Minnette's character was going to turn up later on in the film because his kill scene was so strange to me. Why not stab him directly through the throat? Unless they're saving him for a sequel.

Yes, I felt the same way. I think the sister's could have switch roles tbh. Dylan Minnette's death really upset me, he was a fast favorite of mine.

I mostly enjoyed this, but I agree that the actress who played Samantha was just awful. I hope they look at the successes of this film and minimize her role for a sequel. The actors who played Tara, Mindy and Chad were all fantastic and I'd much prefer the sequel focus in on them and also the return of Kirby. Sam can be an opening kill or a killer, but I can't do another film with her blank expressions like she's Kelly Monaco.

SCREAM 6 definitely has been fast tracked.

 

Not my favorite but I did like it. Not enough of that Sidney Prescott right hook for me, but good all the same.

You could always count on Sidney to go down fighting for sure, but there is usually that one scene where that right hook pops up...usually on Gale.
