No wonder they ran Griffith out of the Days studio. OMG.  His version of Days is abysmal and Alaar should be fired for hiring the Ciara, Theo, Joey and putting them in major stories. Has anyone noticed that for several weeks now they have not rotated headwriter names?  And Josh appears in first position...they hadn't done that after they added Milstein. They were still putting Higley on top too.  GH is not bad and not great. Biggest issue is Teschner's casting over last few years.  Nathan, Griff, Kiki, the chick playing the police commish...all very poor actors. And for god's sake get rid of Obrect as chief of staff.  Absolutely one of Carlivati's worst plot turns.  I like the actress; make her evil again but get  her out of that hospital. So stupid.  Y&R is so uneven but it's the least bad of all four shows right now; but bad casting and several lame stories hold it back.  Abby/Stitch have to go.  Dr Tad as well.  Mariah has potential but not with Kevin.  Luca is not compelling, cut him out of the show.  Glad Chloe's coming back.

Obrecht is no longer chief of staff. Monica replaced her in late April. And I totally disagree about Matt Cohen. I think he's doing a fine job as Griff.
