I'm not a big fan of Taylor but from a behind the scenes and I guess insider view, everyone loves her because she's a genuinely nice person who cares and treats everyone with respect. Most of the people I work with would tell you that she's the nicest and most pleasant celebrity they've ever had to deal with. Ina  business where you have people shouting at you nonstop, showing up hours late, and generally being horrible, someone like Taylor being nice, police, and pleasant goes a long way and makes her stand out.

Just on a personal note, when my mother was dying of cancer, Taylor came to where I work for a story and photoshoot. I was suppose to be there for the story but was with my mother at hospital and when she and her staff heard, they reached out and offered their personal condolences and prayers. When they also learned that my little sister, who was 9 at the time, is a huge Taylor Swift fan, they sent her basically a care package and Swift sent her a personal note. It's acts like that and everything else I've heard about her that makes me appreciate her as a person and I'm sure it's the same for a lot of the people in the industry. Kindness goes a long way.

Thank you for sharing your story.  I'm sorry to hear about your mother.   As a person who follows her career, and every day life, very closely, that's just who she is.  She goes above and beyond what she has to do.  Her big heart is why a lot of people care for her on a personal level. And it's easier to forgive someone you care about, or think highly of, whenever they make a mistake or does something you may not agree with.  On the business side, she's the consummate professional: show up on time, be kind and respectful to the people working with you or for you, or the people doing interviews, or the photoshoots, or the people behind the scenes, etc.  That's why she's beloved within the industry - people like working with her.

I've never been on the T. Swift train. I've always noticed how fake she was. That's why I always commended Katy Perry for calling her out last year about being all 'woman power' but known to try and take down other women behind the scenes.

Never get why people love this twig so much.

That's pretty awesome.  Personally, I don't care about her, but I find her lack of talent to be mind boggling.

I think her strength is definitely in songwriting - she's not a great vocalist, and she can't dance to save her life (it's hilarious how rhythm-less her body is when she tries to).

What's considered "talent"?  Is there just one way to showcase it?  Don't you need some form of talent to write/co-write all your songs, or come up with the melodies for most of your songs, produce some of your songs, or play 5 different instruments? And to do all of those things very well?

Just because you don't like someone's music, doesn't mean that person is talentless.

I think when her career fades, she'll have a nice career for herself as a songwriter/producer for other artists, I think that's more her element than performing to be honest.

LOL. Agreed BetterForgotten she is not a good vocalist or dancer (awful, everyone sings her songs better than her). She is however very good @ songwriting!
