December 15, 201510 yr Member The show marks Kiefer Sutherland's return to TV and has gotten a direct-to-series order. "In the show, Sutherland plays a U.S. Cabinet member who becomes president after an attack during the State of the Union kills those above him in the presidential line of succession. It’s described as a conspiracy tale wrapped around a family drama." Sounds interesting. I giggled at him playing a President when he spent more than a decade playing a character that protects presidents.
December 16, 201510 yr Member It sounds like he is playing Laura Roslin, only dumbified and sentimentalized with the family drama nonsense. Laura was a great character, she was Sec. of Education, something like 36th in line for the presidency, but the other 35 got wiped out and the job became hers.
