YES! The sequel to Ant-Man has been announced as Ant-Man and the Wasp. To be released an eon from now, July 06, 2018. 

 

So excited it will be returning. The first one was SO good.

    So will the Wasp be the woman in this last movie? Evangeline Lilly? I'm glad she at least gets co-headline in the title, which is more than any other women in Marvel films. Janet van Dyne was always a trailblazer...she continues to be, in some form, anyway.

     

    I know some went on about the movie being a box office flop, but it actually did pretty well, clearly well enough for a sequel. Fantastic 4 was a flop.

    Yes, the mid-credits sequence in Ant-Man had Pym showing his daughter, Hope (Lilly) her mother's suit and saying she was meant to become the Wasp.

     

    The film also heavily implies that Jan is not dead but lost in the microverse, and it leaves that very open for a sequel as Pym begins pondering it.
