Damn, I loved Collinwood. My parents should have know something was wrong with me as a little kid when my sister and brother wanted to live in the Father's Knows Best neighborhood (in reruns right after DS) and I wanted to live at Collinwood!

What fun for a kid, ghosts, vamps, diva witches, but most importantly, secret passages, a crypt where you pull the lion head rings and they open, a graveyard constantly in fog....

Mitch,

If I remember correctly, the Reardon boarding house and Quint and Nola's wedding were taped somewhere in northern New Jersey. I lived in Central Jersey at the time and recall reading that the location filming was in New Jersey.

I grew up in East Brunswick, NJ, which was home to many in the soap industry -- Felicia Minei Behr, William Mooney, Richard Van Vleet, Erwin Nicholson.

Loved the Reardon Boardinghouse and would love to know whose house that was...(this was during the Long/Kobe years and they would show the front of it during the intro and Nola ran down the driveway when she was left behind on her wedding day. I thought it was cool that the show kept up the exterior shots through different regimes, JFP used it during her time and I dont know if they used it much after that....(hated "Company," during the Wheeler Peapack years.)
