Members Ann_SS
When I was a child, I used to watch old Ester Williams movies. I hated movies with music, but I absolutely loved to watch her swimming. It was mesmerizing. She did all those flips and turns, she really was an athlete. Just thinking about her swimming makes me smile. RIP, Esther.
Members quartermainefan
I find it so interesting that people back then liked to watch girls swimming set to music. This was basically a genre of one person, I think sometimes directed by Busby Berkeley. I have never seen any of her movies but there is no denying she would have her own chapter in the history of Hollywood.
