This storyline was lame in the 80s when it was Pete being blackmailed over working at Beefcakes. rolleyes.gif

Well, not as lame. Melissa's parental figures were Mickey & Maggie at the time. They already didn't like Pete (from his "gang" issues), the times were different, and Melissa was underage. Certainly Mickey & Maggie were gonna put a stop to their relationship if they found out. The stakes were higher that time imo.

The only thing that was lame is that it was Pete. I mean, who really wanted to see Pete Jannings(sp?) as a stripper? It would have worked better with Glenn, Jennifer's future jerk boyfriend. Rob Estes stripping down to his G-string on the daily? I'll take it!
