Members wingwalker
So I'll start with CBS, since that's my network and easiest to figure out. They actually have several interesting "Un-CBS" like dramas. CBS usually picks up 4-5 new dramas. I suspect the NCIS spin-off and Beverly Hills Cop are shoe-ins unless the pilot turn out awful, so that's two slots. (Though I personally wouldn't pick up either.) Hostages and The Ordained sound the most interest to me, I hope those get picked up. Intelligence sounds like it would go perfectly after Person of Interest, I can see them picking this up if POI isn't moved. I also hope The Surgeon General is good and gets picked up. CBS needs a good medical drama and has been trying for years to get one. Comedy side, CBS usually does 2-3 new comedies a year. Mom is a lock given it's a Chuck Lorre Sitcom. The second comedy will probably be a single-cam just to please the critics since CBS hasn't picked a single cam in years, my guess would be the Robin Williams comedy. The third will be a CBS production (likely multi-cam) since CBS always picks up one of their own every year and Rules of Engagement has been the last CBS-owned comedy to survive past 1 season, my guess would be the Untitled Greg Garcia Project. ABC: S.H.I.E.L.D I'm excited about & probably get picked up unless something goes wrong in the pilot. Big Thunder sounds cool. I really want a network to the take the classic western and modernize for today's audience, figured CBS would be the one, but I'll be happy if ABC picks this up. Both shows would be a good fit on Sunday's at 9 after OUAT or Tuesday's 8pm or 9pm. Comedy side, one that sticks the most is Super Fun Night since it was a CBS contender last year (and CBS should have picked it up) and I love Rebel Wilson. Maybe pick up the John Leguizamo one if it's good. ABC needs more Multi-Cams and there needs to be minority sitcoms on network tv. FOX: Wild Blue sounds kinda cool, as does Sleepy Hollow. I don't usually trust FOX with comedies, so not going to list any. NBC: Chicago Fire has been a quiet success for NBC and will need a stronger show than SVU to compliment it, plus NBC needs more broad programs. The only procedurals I see are After Hours (which maybe could take the old ER slot), The Blacklist and Ironside. The Sixth Gun sounds like a good mate for Grimm. Could make Friday a night of supernatural, it worked for CBS on Friday's for a while. I'd pass on Hatfields & McCoys, with History Channel already having a series on them, even though NBC's is modern day. Wonderland could be NBC's answer to Once Upon A Time. The Untitled Rand Ravich Project sounds interesting. Comedies, NBC needs to start 100% over and is basically going to with nearly every comedy either ending or likely to be canceled in May. I'd personally green light the Sean Hayes one. Loved him on Will & Grace and other projects since then. Undateable sounds kinda like Big Bang Theory, maybe they could get some of the BBT audience to switch to NBC at 8:30 with it. Welcome to the Family sounds like a broad appeal family sitcom that NBC needs. Hard to pick comedies sometimes by going off only a one line description. Produced by CBS TV Studios, it centers on 40-year-old Ella who, in order to successfully navigate through the demanding life of being a mother of three, a lover, a friend and a career woman, constantly lies her way out of and into situations — little lies, big lies, white and at times not-so-white lies.
