Yeah I think we both were. CBS will probably drag out Rules of Engagement after Partners is pulled after next week. Good thing they kept it around cause it usually has to come save the day every year. LOL But yeah, if the night overall doesn't improve I can see them moving 2.5 Men back to Monday's come mid season too. I wonder, maybe next season CBS should consider do a 2 hour comedy block on Thursday's and only a 1 hour comedy block on Monday's by moving Person of Interest to Monday's 9pm and move 2BG to Thursdays. They'd probably be able to make more money with a 2 hour Thursday comedy block than they do with the current set up.

I totally agree. Castle should have been moved 2-3 seasons ago, now it's too late. At least ABC finally moved Private Practice in order to use Grey's to launch new shows.

I am sure CBS will do something fast to correct this. I also thought of ROG brought back to now Mondays to fill up Partners spot. I would also move Mike and Molly to the 9pm hour and move 2 broke girls to 930pm hour.

Crazy that NCIS call still pull 20 million viewers and over a 4.0 in the demos despite being 10 years old. Shows that old usually start loosing viewers.

I think ABC needs to rethink putting comedies at 9pm. Six comedies is going to be too much. Especially since most of them probably appeal the same viewers, it's already showing with just the NBC and FOX comedies. Last year I didn't think Last Man Standing did too bad at 8. I'd maybe put LMS and Reba's show here at 8pm and Dancing Results as 9.

.7 before and .7 after - clearly some of New Girl audience doesn't like Ben&Kate. LOL If ABC ever cancels Happy Endings, I think FOX should snap it up and put it with New Girl.

That NCIS audience is very loyal!

I have a feeling NBC will finally revamp Thursdays next fall - 30 Rock and The Office are ending, P&R will be cancelled now that they reached the syndication mark, and UAN will be canceled too.

TBBT is definitely "Friends" when it comes to no show being able to follow it. Surprised 2.5 Men fell -1.5. I thought the drop would be closer, between the 0.5-1.0 range.

Scandal at 2.1 sad.png It'll be in danger if it falls below 2.0. Damn!

Highest rated Premiere for BBT. What I'd give to see BBT numbers if it aired an hour later, I'd bet it could pull 6s in the demo & 17-18 million viewers. 2.5Men got the same Rules of Engagement gets in that post BBT slot, so CBS weakened their Monday lineup for nothing. CBS needs to have Chuck Lorre make a Big Bang Spin-off. That'll probably be only thing that'll get good ratings in that post BBT slot.

ABC should stick with Last Resort for at least a season, nothing else will perform that well in ABC's death slot.

When is the media going to notice how terrible Glee's ratings are? This show's ratings have fell hard and it's ratings slide started last year.

And NBC, I'll go easy on them since they basically already admitted they are waving the white flag on this night. With 2 of those four shows ending and the other two at cancellation levels, maybe NBC will finally do next year what I've said they needed to do years ago, start their comedy block from scratch. That's what ABC did when they first launched their Wednesday comedy block and it's paid off for them.

    • So I think I figured based on the end credits who is the script writer for each episode. Thursday's episode looked to have been script written by David Kreizman, and it was a well written episode that flowed well. Today's episode looked to have been script written by Henry Newman (son of Fran Myers and the late Roger Newman).   Right now, I've noticed improvements on the day to day scripts and that's a good sign that eventually the long term outlines that we will see in the coming weeks and months will be good.  Fingers crossed.
    • I have a very different view of Dano. For one thing, she like me, loves her little dogs. Another thing, of course she is effusive, outgoing but she is also very vulnerable & she used to have her Frank, her mother & Vivian who officially was her publicist (I think) but she was so much more. Now, they are all gone. Well, except for her always having a pair of her little dogs. But, if I were going to think in your terms, what I would think is "cool aunt". Because this lady is really one cool dame. Here is one of my favorite views of her https://www.instagram.com/reel/DGecq8rJS4w/

    • I found it to be a rather odd way to deal with a character departing for parts unknown.
    • Today reminded me as to why I’m a little disappointed in the name that the new Pope chose

Luckily, EJ and Johnny, and pretty much every other character saved today’s episode.  I didn’t expect Javi to be the one to save Sarah though, and I don’t mind it at all, because if it means that Javi is finally going to get his own identity/character, away from his douchy bf, I’m all for it. Javi’s scenes would’ve been a lot better had it not been for him. EJ and Johnny were the best part of today. Their conversation hit a lot of important beats and I’m so looking forward to seeing them play out. And now that EJ knows that Johnny is going to work for Xander, that opens up another dynamic to their storyline and to the Kiriakis family storylines as well. Tying them all together could be really good. There are so many story possibilities that can come out of this. And I thought Carson Boatman did a pretty good job again too.  I also liked that Johnny was there to comfort Chanel after everything that happened with Sarah. They’re so good together. But I do have mixed feelings about Chanel possibly forgiving Johnny so quickly. Hopefully, the question that she asked him at the end of today leads to more conflict for the two of them.  And yeah, still no changes in Alex’s character lol
    • Awesome, thanks so much for taking the time to grab this episode. I had a quick review of your rip because I was curious why it was 700MB and 30 minutes. The first 10 minutes of the episode is 3169 (opening credits at 5 minutes and again at 15 minutes). I thought we had the full HD version of ep.3170 on the YouTube channel, but it appears they added the wrong episode but labelled it 3170.
    • I guess, according to Mike Manning in the Michael Fairman chat, he was almost Derek
