24/7 Wall St. listed ten brands that will disappear in 2013:

1. American Airlines

2. Talbots

3. Current TV

4. Research In Motion

5. Pacific Sunwear

6. Suzuki

7. Salon.com

8. The Oakland Raiders

9. Metro PCS

10. Avon

I think that some of these predictions will be correct (especially Current TV). However, 24/7 Wall St. has not had a perfect track record: Sears and Soap Opera Digest both made the 2012 list, and they're still here (although SOD will meet its demise after GH is cancelled in 2013).

Suzuki and Avon are interesting choices. Both companies recently refused stake-sales (Suzuki) or take-overs (Avon)...

RIM is DOA, unless their the can cut costs very fast and their new phones sell more than decent in 2013.

I was thinking that The Oakland Raiders didn't make sense but now I see this is based on the stadium. The same could probably be said for other NFL teams. Last year they were floating the possibility of the Vikings or Chargers moving to L.A. I think the Vikings got a stadium deal. If the Raiders move back to L.A. this time around, they will probably remain a bit longer since they'd be coming into a brand new stadium.

Hopefully Avon pulls through.
