Saw a Preview: Will is at the Pub and two dayplayers ask him what it was like when he came out to his folks,. Will nervously laughs

i dont want to give it away for those who haven't watched todays episode yet, so I won't get into details...

the mirror scene was BRILLIANT! to show a character's inner thoughts with no dialogue was pure genius on the writers part.

and it illustrates the shows desire to tell Will's story on a pure character-driven approach, this is the way it should be done on

soaps.

When you've got a character like Leslie, it's best to use that character sparingly. Or else she becomes a complete annoyance to the viewer. Today's episode exemplified that.
Also when you've got a rather spoiled and entitled ingenue (such as Y&R's Lauren Fenmore in the 1980s or BTG's Kat Richardson in 2026), you wanna tone her DOWN from time to time so she doesn't become as tiresome to the audience as she becomes to her enemies on the show. Today's show exemplified that.

I agree about the price of a smash burger not being inexpensive, but that OG price seemed high for the type of establishment it's supposed to be. I mean, they're pretty high.

Look at today's show. Phyllis and Billy are in their offices, but there's no sense that as any business is being done. There's no sign that anything is happening.
Lauren shows up and is EXCITED that Phyllis has taken over. Huh?
Victoria is waltzing all over town doing nothing but talk about going to Milan to see Summer -- and we know that's not happening.
Nick is popping Smarties like the candy they are while he does the same grimace 7x per episode.
Sally and Audra have a communications company that they talk about over a laptop at Society.
IT'S ALL SUCKAGE.

I am sure the show is out of whack with preemptions, but it felt like a filler, mid week episode to me. It wasn't awful. I was just bored.
Fair enough. Spixie spent so long as a 'quirky' pairing, then were forgotten, and now finally have some depth. It's a shame they made Spinelli so ridiculous when Bradford was front and center because he is clearly capable of playing layers.
