I am hoping this is more about an eating disorder than drugs. KS is petite, to be diplomatic , and in the past has looked like a concentration camp victim. She is entirely too thin.

I agree, she's looked painfully thin in the last few years. If anything, I'm leaning towards treatment for something involving that instead of drugs or alcohol. She's been plenty competent in the role, as crappy as they write for Maxie, so it makes me lean more towards something physical instead of an addiction.

Having said all that, it could very well just be someone in her close family is sick and she's been put into the caretaker role. I doubt we'll know until there's an actual statement.

If KS is gonna be out for that length of time than a recast is a must. GH did it in 1994 when Anna Lee was Ill and we got about 10 weeks Of Meg Wyllie as Lila.
