August 29, 201114 yr Member People who have no lives? LOL. I've never understood what's interesting about them, they're overrated twits
August 29, 201114 yr Author Member They need to follow a working class family, or at least some wealthy family who lost it all and now have to readjust to a new social status. Reality shows could be socially responsible if they wanted to. Maybe this is in a way...and her husband looks like a total caveman.
August 29, 201114 yr Member WE TV follows a family on "Downsized" They weren't like living large wealthy but I think they made a decent amount than both parents lost their jobs. They have to readjust to living on a budget. Unfortunately, ppl watch crap like this in droves and they don't the more realistic shows. I only saw a small portion when I couldn't find the remote last night and the best part was Kourtney telling Kim that ppl are dying as Kim balled for earring. Edited August 29, 201114 yr by jcar03

I actually appreciated Kourtney for saying that.
August 30, 201114 yr Member lol when I first saw the headling I thought that you guys in the US had heard about this. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/more-news/man-throws-out-wifes-50k-jewellery/story-fn7x8me2-1226124876802 IT might be the last time he offers to take out the rubbish. A Caloundra man is petitioning his local council to scour local tips after accidentally throwing out $50,000 worth of his wife's jewellery before their 23rd anniversary last week. Geoffrey, who doesn't want his last name printed, had split the uninsured collection of charm bracelets, bangles and pure gold bars into three garbage bags to try to fool potential robbers. But in a mix up during a house clean-up, the bags went straight to the wheelie bin - and, most likely, the Nambour tip. Geoffrey, a truckie, said he was frightened his family would be a target of robbers after his GPS navigation system with his home address was stolen along with his keys. "I had this great idea to split the gold into three rubbish bags so if the thieves did come in they're not going to find it," he said. "We're moving house and I told the kids and to give me any garbage lying around for me to throw out. "My wife rang me up when I was at work and said 'Where are the bags?' You know that sick feeling you get? Wow!" He frantically called Sunshine Coast Regional Council which said he had next to no chance of finding the loot. "Caloundra landfill receives approximately 1400 tonnes of waste per week - the equivalent of over half the volume of water in an Olympic swimming pool," a council spokesman said. "To locate the lost items, this decaying, compacted waste would need to be systemically excavated and sorted mechanically." The debacle happened just two days before Geoffrey's 23rd wedding anniversary rolled around on Friday. "We've never had a fight in the whole time we've been married and didn't have one now," he said. But his mates are unlikely to let him forget. "They keep ringing me up and saying 'Hey mate the price of gold has just gone up'," he said. "I'm like - shut up will ya?"
