Doo-Wop

Does anybody here like doo-wop music? To put it simply, doo-wop is the 1950's vocal group singing style (although it remained popular in the early-60's as well), where background singers would chant nonsense syllables such as "doo-wop" and "shoo-be-do" while the music played. I love this music, even though I was born well after it was made.

For those of you who don't know what doo-wop is (which I would assume is just about everyone here), below are among the most famous songs of this early rock and roll genre:

"Sh-Boom" by The Chords (1954):

Titus, I just love "Sh-Boom" as well. FYI, it is considered one of the very first rock and roll songs.
