Kelly Clarkson Rebuffs "Idol" *UPDATED*

I heard apparently Kelly has changed her mind and will now let Idol use her songs - either as a result of the negative publicity or maybe it was her management and not Kelly herself who made the original decision.

Who cares what others think/say about Kelly, people see things differently. I know a lot of singers I like and hear people talk negatively about them and still like them. I ain't going to sing praises of Kelly because I never liked her to begin with. She seems so FAKE! I still remember at 'World Idol' how absolutely !@#$%^&*]y she came off, even before that I disliked her.

Wow, you guys all have good points on Kelly but I still don't think it's right -_- It's one thing that other stars don't want their music on American Idol, but the show made Kelly famous and who she is today so that's the LEAST she could do. Plus, I see it as her fans giving her a tribute by singing her songs on American Idol. But I guess she doesn't want some contestants to ruin her song. I'm not going to stop liking her music over this, though and I hope she still writes smash hits like "Since You Been Gone" and "Miss Independent".
