Thanks. Who was Jens August forcing to sign papers? (I thought the guy was kind of cute)

Who was chloroformed?

At first I thought that woman at the end shoved ground glass in the man's face and I did a double take.

Jens August forced Storm (Liland Anker-Hansen) to sign the papers, but that's especially edited for the promo - because it was Arnfinn he forced to sign in the actual episode. And before he was forced into doing that, Arnfinn was chloroformed and kidnapped - commissioned by Jens August.

Sadly, but not surprisingly, the show didn't win the "Best TV drama" category at Gullruten, the Norwegian TV awards, in May. However, Hotel Cæsar is nominated in the best "Soap Operas and Telenovelas" category at Banff Rockie Awards at the Canadian Banff World Media Festival, apparently starting next Sunday. Sources:

Plus: Some clips from the filming of the season finale! (Unfortunately, they're not subtitled, but I guess you still get something out of it?). It does look rather good, doesn't it? smile.png

Me too! Although I suspect Måne might die... It's just a "feeling" I have, but I've talked with other fans who say the same.

The show that won the award were, not surprisingly, "Halvbroren" ("The Half Brother"):

It wasn't a surprise because the show was loved by both the critics and the audience. I can't say if the show really was any good, because I didn't watch it (the promo looks pretty good, though). I just didn't find the story very interesting (a man searching for his half brother for eight episodes (each 45 min.)? Come on!). I just couldn't see what others saw in the show, and I still can't - simply because I can't find the story interesting enough... But it was an honour for the show to be nominated!

The show were nominated for the episode of Runa dying from leukemia:

Immediately, I was a little disappointed too that they didn't show the explosion in the season finale, but I guess they wanted to end the season finale with the scenes with Eva Rosenkrantz and Mai Nguyen Voldhaug. And yes, they'll show the explosion in the season return.

The Hotel Cæsar promo for the autumn season. Looks very, very good! Love the promo - it's one of the best ones they've ever made for Hotel Cæsar, in my opinion! smile.png

    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.
    • RIP Wayne Lewis.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
