I mean, I don't see how why this is necessary. She is obviously not going to become a love interest of anyone and will remain recurring. So...just leave her off screen. Just my opinion.

I agree.

If they were set on doing this then maybe they should have cast someone who could have been a love interest for Tad. That would have added more complications to the Tad/Cara/Jake/Amanda thing.
