Members quartermainefan Posted October 21, 2010 Members Share Posted October 21, 2010 His show can be as white as the driven snow, he still produces the most honest and no talking point analysis of the news, sometimes doing the job of the newspeople who embarrass themselves by just reciting talking points and saying "some people say". You have a better chance of cutting through the bullshit with Jon Stewart than you do with David Gregory's Meet The Publicist show. There is also a difference between his show and all the others on that chart. He deals a lot with newsmaker guests of the political stripe, and for the most part that means white guys. The Daily Show/Colbert Report is still a huge elitist crapfest that liberals in coffeeshops publicly wank about to one another. There's nothing wrong with Meet The Press' format or the guests.
