That was the soap that was so intelligently written ABC mandated the writer dumb the show down to bring it more in line with the rest of the ABC line up. I watch soaps to be entertained by character driven storytelling. I could care less about "love in the afternoon" (which I think is the stupidest saying. What is it, really?
