Wow. That was some meeeeeaaan sh*t. It looks awful and the cast is terrible.

It does look awful (and like it doesn't know what kinda film it wants to be--). Don't forget though that before the Batman inspired tv show, it was a long running radio show spin off of The Lone Ranger.

Why are you surprised?

I just don't see anything in the trailer that shows what I usually think of as his style. I like a lot of his music vids, and liked Eternal Sunshine (though less his other movies). But it just seems such an odd choice to me.

Your first clue to the shite was the release date. Typical January Junk. True filmgeeks in January go see the limited release Oscar crap that they couldn't get to in the holiday season, (or like for me, outside of LA and NY, doesn't play until Jan and Feb)
