Jamie Lyn Bauer looks very good but she also looks like she's auditioning for Lorie: Portrait of a Teenage Runaway.

Who is "Kaye"? :P

How do you get such an unattractive photo of the gorgeous Jim Hougton. I love how he kind of insults William Gray Espy. :lol:

Herrera is stunning!

Interesting quote from Jeanne Cooper, given that a few years later she would get help for her drinking.

How long was this magazine around?

Hasselhoff=former Shakespearean actor? :blink:

Brenda's always had a thing for the doctors, hunh? ;)

Even decades old mentions of Conboy's projects in development excite me, I can't help myself even though I've accepted that they'd probably be style over substance and his latest work on GL didn't even impress me in the style department. Every article I've ever read about him over the past twenty years has mentioned these projects and they never come about. It's sad that SoapNet never stepped up its original programming game with so many talented vets still around, but even more economical, I'd still be interested in seeing what Conboy could do with a web series.

He could bring back Capitol, Marj and Constance are still availabe, Myrna and Clarissa would be great-grandmas by now. ^_^

SFK,

In 1976 and 1977, John Conboy produced three afternoon specials: one in 1976 and two in 1977. One of these won an Emmy for best direction, I think. I would kill to see these specials. They showcased musical talents of various CBS daytime stars. I have two photocopied clippings of advertisements for these specials, which I will be posting here soon.

Oh, that's interesting! Would love to see those too. As a matter of fact, I was aware of his daytime specials/telefilms and I've seen a clip of him accepting an Emmy for one of them online. I guess I meant the soaps and primetime series he's always cooking up like Casino and another one set in Manhattan.
