May 18, 201015 yr Member I HATE the idea of my fave soap no longer being in NYC. But--it's been an improvement. They still need to dump their producer, but... And to my eyes, the move to more spacious L.A. digs seems to be more about behind the scenes conveniences (like being able to keep sets up full time) rather than taking the opportunity to visually dazzle the audience. The new sets could have very well been New York revamps. Not that I watch for sets, but I was expecting more. Of course it was a million 1982 dollars, but a super tall set like the Clegg mansion on Capitol for the Chandlers would bowl me over, or even the Alden mansion, or something like Sydney Chase's loft penthouse for Erica. What I've noticed most is that we're always out in the park which is ironic becqause it's in studio, and even in New York they were blocks from Central Park.
