Undercover Boss beats Desperate Housewives again!!!

UB numbers are down from previous weeks and DH numbers higher than the last weeks though.

I like UB but last night's episode was probably the weakest, most boring so far. Carstanjen (sp?) seemed even more clueless than most; he was certainly the blandest. But now I compare them all to the Joe DePinto/7-Eleven episode, which was my favorite. These CEOs are taking a heck of a gamble. Sure, it's basically a one hour commercial. But I don't think Coby Brooks, for instance, did himself or Hooters any favors. Granted, I don't think there's a whole lot you can do to change people's opinions, whatever they may be, about Hooters. And it revealed that Brooks inherited it rather reluctantly from his father whom he hadn't gotten along with anyway. If anything, that show probably cost him customers. It certainly seems to have made some people angry over the way that misogynist manager was (not) handled. Big contrast with DePinto, from a blue-collar background who had to work his way up...probably the one out of all the CEOS so far that didn't seem to have his head totally up his a$$. Score some major feelgood for DePinto and 7-Eleven.

I saw they renewed the show for a second season but now that it's on air, how the heck are they going to fool anyone when a guy shows up for a job with a camera crew following him around?

I too thought last night's show was weak. I did hear about the 2nd season announcement. I dont know how they will do it with the cameras present. I think its a good show. I am glad it will be on for another season.
