Will it efficiently run Facebook? That's my biggest question.

I've noticed on both PC and MAC systems that it rusn Facebook and sometimes YouTube at a very slow pace. I use Safari, no problems.

Well, is your Firefox clogged with add-ons? That can be a problem. I keep hearing contrasting experiences: for some it runs just fine, for others — not so much.

I only have one add-on...an FLV/Media Grabber. And the computers I use at work don't have any add-ons or plugins and they move Facebook just as slow. But the computers also use Windows 2000. ICCCCCK!

Well, their project documentation lists "speed and responsiveness improvements" as a goal, among others. I know people used to have problems, complained a lot about FB, but then they fixed it (after sloppily releasing one version which didn't work properly for some users, if I recall correctly).

I know some, even know, complain about massive memory usage.

It all needs to be improved. The road map specifies that 4.0 will be released in October or November this year, but it might not be released before early 2011.
