Despite reports, AMC is not receiving new opening credits. However, the show will be filming new cast members, including a fresh Rebecca Budig shot, for its opening montage.

What bull sh!t! AMC deserves a new opening montage for their 40th anniversary. An opening that consists of various vintage photos from the shows 40 year history, Agnes Nixon's hand written poem, and new fresh head shots of each contract player, and not ones done in some dingy ABC studio with crapy lights and window frames in the background.

ETA: Oh and Rebecca Budig does not need to be in the opening. She'll exit her after role 13 weeks!

Another actor not making the L.A. move is Lucy Merriam, who plays Emma. Cameron Mathison tells Digest that the role will be recast. “I’ll miss her so much,” Mathison said. “It will be very hard to recast.”

THANK GOD!!! R. SINCLAIR, YOUR THOUGHTS?

It will be very hard to recast LMAO...

At least, AMC is still going HD. All ABC's money must be going to supporting GH's stunts. ABC has to be desperate to make and keep GH profitable.
