For those of you who aren't familiar, Tonye played Heylia James in seasons 1-3 of Weeds, she is incredible. Youtube her up (though I can't post links cause in Weeds she curses like mad)

This is awesome news. Though I probably won't watch her on OLTL simply because I want to remember her as Heylia, which is one of my favourite roles of all time, and really, what's the point because they can't do what they could on Weeds with censors

BUT - one of the pillars of my all-time-favourite-show-of-LIFE is at least going to have a contact address. I'm super excited, love the lady.

But isn't it nice to see such great actors -- I LOVED Faison on The Wire -- coming to daytime? Another sign that ABC is investing and striving for relevance.
