In the whole scheme of things, it's the most stupid decision I've heard in a long time.

But I get why Maria wanted to do it.

Maria wanted to introduce Deacon with the art storyline. It's something she's passionate about. Something she knows. She wanted to focus the attention on MG's character because he was about to leave Y&R for greater opportunities. She wanted to break up Amber and Daniel without ruining the scooby friendship of the quad. There was way too much happy sex going on off camera for Maria. She needed these Amber to be back on her trashy ways. Enter Deacon.

It all makes sense.

Too bad it sucks. LMAO.
