Mac and Billy are not working now because all they have is themselves. We don't see Billy at Jabot, we don't see Mac interacting with grandma about P3. They have no personalities beside the fact that they went to high school together. All we see is them talking about retconned high school memories, which is a big cheat considering that we saw Mac & Billy in their high school years.

Re: Summer's poisoning. To me, Patty Jane's motivation for poisoning Summer is as far-fetched as Phyllis calling Brad to come between Jack and Sharon. Uh? If the child is sick it will bring Nick & Phyllis together. If Sharon is Nick-less, then she has a chance to go after Smilin' Jack again, and it's not a big if, since the baby she's carrying could still be Jack's as far as MJ knows.

Billy and Mac have no chemistry and Billy has chemistry with EVERYONE!!!

MaryJane/Patty in my opinion has involved herself in the whole paternity storyline, I think Jack or Billy is the babydaddy, and MJ/P changed it to Nick, with Nick being with Sharon because she is knocked up, she has to keep Phyllis away from Jack, so by making Summer sick, Nick will be in the triangle loop. But with Sharon telling her GRAND lie, MJ/P has to now do something to keep Nick with Sharon, so she

tells Heather that she thinks Phyllis gave Summer the peanut cookies to get attention from Nick, causing Heather to have Phyllis arrested and subtracting Phllis from Jack's orbit!

Adam/Rafe is not the real upcoming gay story. We've been told that. Check the spoiler section for the real gay story coming up. My best guess right now is MJ dies in November, and Adam gets sent to jail before 2010, and probably won't return as a character for a few years. The real gay storyline will involve Rafe and a non-psycho and it will have the potential to be a long-term real relationship.

Until they give Rafe a character to play and stop making him look so young I don't know how many viewers will ever want to see him in a relationship.

The huge age difference between Rafe and P3, and how unsympathetic P3 will be after abandoning his son, I don't know if that will do them any favors either.

I hope they just kill Adam off. I think this character is done for, and if they did bring him back, it would probably be as a Sheila wannabe bogeyman.
