May 22, 200916 yr Author Member I can't believe I'm starting to use these on your posts. I'm turning into someone I don't get along with either. OK, y&r_fan 2.0. You know I don't like Vail, so we'll have to disagree on her.
May 22, 200916 yr Member OK, y&r_fan 2.0. You know I don't like Vail, so we'll have to disagree on her. Don't call me that, it's a serious insult. I know, I know... I just had to comment. I'm sure her days will be counted anyways once Adam is done with her.
May 22, 200916 yr Administrator - Nina and Amber make quite the pair. I echo the previous post who stated that Nina's lines were a direct attack on LML's sloppy logic with the baby-switch. The screenplay thing sort of was meh in the begining, just like Kay's memoirs, but I like it as a dvice to investigate the past. Yeah, i like how they're linking this screenplay thing to Cane/P3 secret and they're using Nina. - Raul really blew me away. And Mac has finally come to life - Julia, your prayers have been answered! CF has been good these last couple of episodes. Not only does she look better, she seems to have some energy in her scenes. - MAB has officially brought Friday cliff-hangers back. i almost wished I lived in Canada (me no like cold). Two Friday cliffhangers in a row! I hope she keeps this up. Monday's US episode is good and the preview for Tuesday's episode looks good too. Things seems to be swinging up again after a slow month.
May 22, 200916 yr Member Now, time to give Phyllis a real man, and not one that makes her look like a washed-up doormat. I think Stafford likes acting opposite Morrow because it's easy, he doesn't challenge her, thus she doesn't have to do much with him. If he is as weak as you say (he is not), then Stafford has EXTRA work, trying to draw any semblance of a performance out of him. Stafford enjoys working with Morrow and vice versa. That enjoyment comes across on screen.
May 22, 200916 yr Author Member In other words, Stafford likes to be lazy. I agree. When she tries, she's awesome, it's just too often that she doesn't try very hard IMO. Yes, but thankfully, she's been acting this year instead of just reading her lines. She was in a rut from the beginning of the Phick marriage until Nick started screwing Sharon again. 2009 has been sort of a comeback for her acting.

Stafford doesn't have extra work, she likes being lazy, not my fault you will never admit any flaws in your favourite actors or in the show.

I'm sure her days will be counted anyways once Adam is done with her. nu-Adam changes everything. It could save or kill Vail's Heather. Time will tell, but it's actually exciting. I'm hoping it saves Vail and strengthens her performances. She had a really nice spark with Engen...let's hope it is even stronger with Muhney.

You expressed an opinion (even here..."lazy")...I disagreed. I guess that makes you anti-fanboi? Regardless, Stafford has been terrific in these delicate scenes...Phyllis will have much Sturm und Drang, and Stafford will handle it well.

May 22, 200916 yr Author Member Personalizing...sigh...typical. We wouldn't have that problem if you didn't try to belittle everyone's post that doesn't suit your agenda. You impose your opinions on others as the truth. You expressed an opinion (even here..."lazy")...I disagreed. I guess that makes you anti-fanboi? No, just someone who can admit when some of his favourite actors suck and are lazy. Regardless, Stafford has been terrific in these delicate scenes...Phyllis will have much Sturm und Drang, and Stafford will handle it well. Just as long as someone is keeping her in-check, I wouldn't want another two years of Stafford looking like she's in a coma with her lazy "Oh, OK" acting style. May 22, 200916 yr Member We wouldn't have that problem if you didn't try to belittle everyone's post that doesn't suit your agenda. You impose your opinions on others as the truth. Please provide evidence of "belittling"? Would "fanboi" count? I'd sincerely appreciate a link to my belittling behavior, so I can refrain from it. How can I impose opinion? I assume, then, that the expression of opinion contrary to yours is what bothers you? No, just someone who can admit when some of his favourite actors suck and are lazy. Braeden is lazy. St. John is lazy sometimes. Eva Pigford sucks in this role. Etc. What's the point? Just as long as someone is keeping her in-check, I wouldn't want another two years of Stafford looking like she's in a coma with her lazy "Oh, OK" acting style. That's fine. But as long as the delicate dynamics between Nick-Sharon-Phyllis are front and center I (and many others) are happy.
May 22, 200916 yr Member No, it's the writing that (or the lack thereof) that will kill this character. I think Heather's pretty safe with the MJ situation kicking into gear and the Williams's family ressurgence. she's the ADA and there's some beats for outside of Adam.

I assume, then, that the expression of opinion contrary to yours is what bothers you You post in a style that I interpret where you're trying to prove everyone wrong that disagrees with you. That's all, and my fanboi comment is admittedly rude, but I'm giving back what I interpret as rude behavior - intentional or not. Braeden is lazy. St. John is lazy sometimes. Eva Pigford sucks in this role. Etc. What's the point? Objectivity? That's fine. But as long as the delicate dynamics between Nick-Sharon-Phyllis are front and center I (and many others) are happy. If the actors don't care about the material and it shows on-screen, why the hell should I? Edited May 22, 200916 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
