OLTL has had all three (rape, murder, and child illness) in the past few months.

Throw in mental illness, dead babies, and baby swith storylines, and we have ourselves a party. :P

OLTL has had all the trauma imaginable, but the Tarty climax was the one that really got the ABC promo juices flowing. YOU NEVER THOUGHT YOU'D SEE THIS!!! Why no, I never thought a man taking advantage of his brain damaged gang rape victim would be turned into pseudo-porn.

It seems like such a waste to kill either Stuart or Adam because I highly doubt this will be well written, even beyond one month.

They think all viewers see the characters the same way they do, which is cheap pawns to knock off the board in random ways. Hyping the murder of one of AMC's most beloved characters as hot stuff is how they get themselves going. Stuart himself will be an afterthought, compared to a murder mystery that probably won't have any major impact for most of the show's favorite characters and will be forgotten within a few months.
