It would be nice if they created a couple of recurring--supporting--characters that work on lower-level positions of Newman and Jabot and to get to see them interact with the main characters, if only in throwaway business scenes. For a show whose premise is business and family drama, it would make sense.

That reminds me of "Mort" and "Bob", two junior-level execs at the Sumner Group, on KNOTS LANDING. Mort and Bob always would be there, interacting with several members of the regular cast, providing comic relief and a sort of "voice" for the audience. (Mort, if I'm not mistaken, was played by Mort Haining, who played Norman, Esther's husband and Rex's killer, on Y&R.)

Amelia Heinle looks more & more like Eugene Levy.

I seriously can't see the resemblance.

Yes, that's the idea. Not necessarily the comic relief, but to at least lend some credibility and believability to the companies of the show.

OMG, DeeeDee!

First Pippin and Khalil. Now Heinle and Levy?

That should've been Kevin and Devon. Oh wells.

Oh, absolutely not! Kevin and Devon were at the very bottom of the chain, and they were/are contract characters. I'm talking about Newman professionals in the late 20s/early 30s range, heads of Marketing/Research/Legal etc whose purpose is to show the business interaction with the main characters, no outside of the company stories for them... Just supporting characters, who can have their own personalities, but really only just that.

Sorry, DeeeDee, but I can't see the resemblance.

But I do see a vague resemblance between Jeanne Cooper and "Madame".

LOL, that's a stretch.

Her eyebrows get any thicker her forehead will collapse like Clear Springs.

Throw in an annual "Newman vs. Chancellor" company softball game, and I'm in!

And Nikki and Miss Piggy.
