Agree the last two weeks were weird, pacing and storywise. Things just feel off.

Friday's show:

Greenlee and Ryan talked about Zach.

Greenlee begged Ryan to make Zach, Best Man.

Zach came by Rylee's penthouse to drop off Spike.

Greenlee was worried about Zach's down mood.

Reese and Bianca talked about Zach with Frankie.

Reese comforted and encouraged Zach at the casino and hospital.

Bianca joined them at PVH to give Zach a big fat hug while he's holding Reese's hand.

Erica witnesses this and remains concerned about Zach's relationship with her daughters and Reese..

Zach offered badly injured Iraqi war hero a job, too.

After showing that shooting and his actions afterwards just a few days ago, we sure have a lot of *concern* about Zach and his needs and ain't he swell moments. Only Ryan showed any resistance.

I liked Bianca supporting Erica but bringing up Eric to back her up seems out of left field and had nothing to do with Erica's big issues at that moment (Hello, Josh and Kendall).

"I have a lot to teach you about being a mom"

I thought that was a cute line and it makes sense directed at Greenlee.

Taken out of the context of Annie losing her kid (yeah, I know, not really possible) I think Greenlee was cute with Emma, the remarks about using pre-packaged snacks seemed very very Greenlee trying to be a mom. I still miss corporate Greenlee. Better than Ryan and Greens having another love scene however.

I also find myself liking Annie and Aidan. They are touching really, AT is really trying hard. I think they would be a good match over a long arc of Annie's recovery (if she does).

Sinclair is off the hook. I am not sure I am feeling Mackensie W right now in the role but I guess I should wait and find out her dealio before critiquing too much. Sinclair seems *suddenly* unhinged after trying to play it somewhat cool. *unsure* Impressed that Ryan called Sinclair on her BS, but Ryan was mostly ticked off about the interrupted booty call, seemed to me.

rsmith,

I love your run down of the Zach stuff. I know the other day that is the way the whole episode felt for me with either Zach, Kendall or Zendall. Everything and everyone was worried about them or bragging about the great love.

I said something about it, and I got the response back that with Kendall being in a coma all this time shouldn't this and the next few weeks be about her facing what is wrong - after all Pratt has set all this up. Or something to that affect anyway.

There is a big difference in Kendall waking up and dealing with things. I want to see that. I want to see the dramatic impact of all this and see what she does to Zach and Bianca for deceiving her.

But this all has just been pimping of the characters - just like Friday was with Zach. The show gets called out all the time for doing that with Ryan, Greenlee or Rylee, but they do it just as much with Zendell and this whole week has been just that.

It is disgusting - no matter who they are doing it too.

All I have to say is how sickening is a story or a character when you as a writer or a producer have to work so hard to try and make everyone else like them. And not only that how sickening is a couple when you have got to have other characters tell you how great they are or how great their love is. If it was that great then it could be clearly seen.

I didn't have to have other characters tell me how much Tom loved Brooke or Joe loved Ruth or Tad loved Dixie and so on.

That was the dumbest crap I have ever... Both Greenlee and Emma aren't too bright. I mean, damn! Emma just totally sold her mother out for Greenlee. "I have a lot to teach you about being a mom!" Yeah. Because children are just that comfortable with change.

Ryan: "Emma, Mommy's sick and never coming back."

Emma: "Oh. Let's pick a new mommy! YAY!"

Its complete BS. Im finding it highly unrealistic for Emma to be so accepting of Greenlee as her new mother. Especially for someone her age, Im not buying it. I dont necesarily need to see her acting out like Kathy (although Id love it) but I expect at least a little resentment. Things are just way too perfect here

Oh, please... don't get me started on That Bitch of a Doctor, because I will go on for days. She's such a quack -- and the obvious way she was acting, I'm surprised nobody's noticed. She definitely does seem suddenly unhinged for someone who's supposedly such a professional shrink. I mean, when that dim bulb Ryan even notices something's weird, then you've gone too far. I'm just ready to find out what That Bitch of a Doctor is really up to.

I agree that the show has been on a downswing the last couple of weeks.

This episode really had nothing that I liked enough to want to post about. I guess the most positive thing I could say is that there was nothing I hated so much that I wanted to vent about it either.

I don't really like Randi but... I think there might be at least a smidge of chemistry with her and Petey. I think that overall Randi is a dull character and that she doesn't have any chemistry with Frankie, but IMO, her scenes with Petey aren't horrible. They seem to genuinely like each other, and their scenes together are better than Petey and Colby's are. I don't think that Petey and Colby have any chemistry, and I think that Randi and Petey scenes together are better.

My problem with Randi, besides that the actress isn't grat (but has improved) is I feel like they've dealt with her too surfacey. They mention that she grew up sexually abused which is partly how she got into prostitution, and there was that porn prob yet for the most part she seems like one of the most well adjusted and contented characters on the show...
