I could see them doing this to open up a greater possibility for a Shimi relationship. Who knows.

As for the spoilers, the Jack and Jennifer stuff I'm not really caring for. They're one of the couples sometimes I just wish would have some normal conflict, instead of the outlandish "Jack is dying" story that they've completely overdone. The John and Marlena kiss sounds nice..of course with Marlena chosing Alex again, we all know Kate is going to react. The kissing contest sounds a little weird, but I don't care I'm somewhat excited for the Austin/Lucas/Sami/Carrie conflict.

Nah. JER doesn't kill babies. :) Not once they're born. He almost kills every baby on PSNS and DAYS, but he doesn't kill them. :)
