I have a really hard time supporting Annie or Aidan in all this. Especially since they seem to have led Di into a trap. No matter what, I just can't imagine that any good mother would do this to their child. Ryan is SO not worth this much trouble.

I am so happy that Kelli didn't come back to this storyline.

I can't imagine any mother doing it either. I could have maybe understood all of this if it was about getting revenge on Ryan and finally being free of him and taking Emma back BUT instead Annie is using her child as a means to hang onto Ryan. This isn't about sticking it to Ryan, it's about hanging onto him as she said today. Her whole existance has become about hanging onto Ryan and that's not entertaining to me.

Ok Tad needs to STFU. I was totally feeling Krystal during Tad's third degree.

Speaking of them, they are just friends that are married bc of their kid together, right? Or are we supposed to believe they're a legit married couple who have sex and love each other. If Krystal or Tad kissed someone else, would that be considered cheating and would either be hurt?

Daaaamn, Debbi Morgan is rocking it!

It's insulting to women. Instead of using her daughter to get Ryan back, Annie needs to become a strong independent woman on her own. I have never believed that Ryan & Annie were that in love, so it's beyond me that she is going to such great lengths to keep him. It appears that they are going to hurt many people in her quest to get Ryan & Greenlee back. It's just disgusting.

Thank goodness for the great Jesse & Angie scenes. It makes up for all this nonsense.

    • yes. today Monday's episode started with words displayed "part 1" and ended with "to be continued"
    • I find Missy Reeve's views offensive and I don't want to defend her, but I don't think she ever said anything publicly about Days "gay content".   In fact, I don't think she's ever said anything negative about Days at all.  There's no indication Missy is difficult or unprofessional on set-except for the whole affair thing years ago lol-but that's a whole different topic. I can dislike Missy as a person and still think she's the perfect fit for Jen.  Cady tried and it didn't work for me.  Whenever Missy steps into the role it works.  It's a two things can be true situation.  Missy has some bad opinions, but she's great at playing Jennifer.
    • Doesn't the funeral go into Tuesday
    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.
