I thought this episode was a little boring compared to the past few weeks.

Of course, David would be distraught over losing his second daughter, especially after the death of his brother Leo, as well. Don't forget that Babe was his last biological relative. I'm still not sure if he meant to kill himself or was just putting on a show for Krystal because he knew she'd come.

I liked the Annie/Ryan/Greenlee scenes. Anytime Annie puts down Greenlee is a good day for me.

Bianca/Reese are wonderful together. Their spark just lights up the screen. I agree that Reese seems jealous of Zach; I think she's concerned about him bonding with Gabrielle and I wouldn't be surprised if she tried to stop him from spending time with her.

The Frankie/Jesse scenes were the highlight for me. I can totally understand why Frankie would be angry that Jesse had another wife and child who got all the attention that he & Angie didn't. It's nice to have a storyline where the hero is flawed for a change.

I am actually stunned by Greenlee's reaction when she saw Annie lying on the floor...

Reese/Binks

BTW, am I the only one who thinks that Krystal isn't suffering that much because of Babe's death? She cried and yelled more when Babs was "killed" by the Satin Killer..

Frankie not shaking with Rebeca... dear Lord...he acted like a spoiled brat.. I understand that he is angry towards Jesse, but Rebecca didn't do anything to him...

Vincent Irizarry is excellent. :D

JR/Little A's scenes were nice.

OMG... We even have the chance to see GhostBabe? LMAO...

Kendall started to move her fingers? Isn't she supposed to be in a coma for 2 months??

OK episode.

    • yes. today Monday's episode started with words displayed "part 1" and ended with "to be continued"
    • I find Missy Reeve's views offensive and I don't want to defend her, but I don't think she ever said anything publicly about Days "gay content".   In fact, I don't think she's ever said anything negative about Days at all.  There's no indication Missy is difficult or unprofessional on set-except for the whole affair thing years ago lol-but that's a whole different topic. I can dislike Missy as a person and still think she's the perfect fit for Jen.  Cady tried and it didn't work for me.  Whenever Missy steps into the role it works.  It's a two things can be true situation.  Missy has some bad opinions, but she's great at playing Jennifer.
    • Doesn't the funeral go into Tuesday
    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.
