Um. Yes.

Just kidding. We've all been talking about it on the Y&R weekly discussion threads, so come on in and join us!

Oh yeah. It's become so much better. The lame rock music is still there at some points, but at least it's not in every freaking scene. I hated listening to that music in a scene involving Katherine and Jill. It just didn't seem to fit with them.

We've all been speaking about this in the weekly thread. Rauch seems to have really taken a liking for the older, more traditional scores. He also uses them in a very classic Y&R way.

The rock background music is only used with the Crimson Lights set now, where it's appropriate. Unless it's a really dramatic scene, I don't see why a public coffee house should be playing classical music.

Rauch seems to have brought on better music editing on the show as well. I liked how last week when Adam and Jack were on the phone, and Adam was at Crimson Lights you heard the music used there, and when it flashed back to Jack, the music was gone. Had Latham still be producing the show, you'd hear the rock music both ways.

I will head over to the Y&R discussion.

Today there were CLASSIC Y&R themes, wonderful editing of the music. Very cinematic and lush.

I loved Paul's OLTL music- It was outstanding.

And I have missed this aspect of Y&R and it is so nice to see it back. So far so good!
