Latest 'South Park' Hates On 'Indy 4'; Will Paramount & Spielberg & Lucas Protest?
UPDATE: I've learned Paramount's top execs missed last night's South Park episode, "The China Problem", during which the show's writers viciously spoofed Steven Spielberg and George Lucas for "raping" Indiana Jones in this summer's fourquel. No, I mean really raping the character, by recreating those rape scenes from The Accused and Deliverance and scattering them throughout the episode. My info is that Paramount will look into this on Friday.
I myself learned about the episode from a tipster, so I watched the show and, OH MY GOD.
Remember how Tom Cruise was upset with Viacom for allowing South Park to air the infamous "Trapped in the Closet" episode? I can't begin to imagine what Paramount's Brad Grey and Rob Moore, and Spielberg and Lucas, will say to parent company Viacom about this current episode. Especially since Paramount this week confirmed to me the Internet speculation that an Indiana Jones 5 is a very, very real possibility because development has already begun on it.
