Nelson corrected the Eileen Davidson news in this week's SUDS Report. Eileen singed a long-term contract with Y&R.

• The breathtakingly gorgeous and criminally underrated Eileen Davidson and I chatted the other day on the phone regarding her new book, Death in Daytime (out on Oct. 7 — which by the way, is a great read, even though I’m only a few chapters in), and returning back to her alma mater on Sept. 26. Can we expect a Victor-Ashley reunion? While she’s not sure what the soap has in store for her character, Davidson says it would make “perfect story sense, and Eric Braeden and I are headed to Paris to film for two days.” Also, Davidson informed as to why there were misleading reports on her Y&R contract status: “I lied, because Y&R wanted me to keep quiet about my return, so I just told people I was only back for a little while. The truth? I signed a long-term contract.” Y&R: I love you.
