But Opal's not on enough nor is Marian... AMC used to be know for having these broad characters who some soap fans complained were caricatures--characters like Phoebe, even villains like Billy Clyde. I think that element is missing--I mean many credit Agnes Nixon for bringing humour TO the soap...
