The what? Have I missed something? :o

Exactly my thoughts; Victor has been acting totally not like he would act if he were up to something, that's why I can't figure it out. But maybe he's acting this way exactly because MAB wants it to be a surprise, both to us and Sabrina mon Petite Parlez-vous.

Chloe is pregnant (obviously the daddy is one of her "booty call" friends), and now she's going to pin it on Cane. If they had sex today, how the heck can she know she's pregnant tomorrow? I hope she has a good plan to break up Lily&Cane (a.k.a. barf), but I just don't like it. Eventually Cane is going to do the math and figure out what Chloe did.

Oh, OK, lol thanks. Haven't been too regular a viewer up until last week

Sounds like classic "stupid plan that works until the stakes are high enough and blow up in the schemer's face" storyline

Yeah, and the problem is I really like Chloe. I wish they had found another way to deal with this. I don't like Lily/Cane together. They could have had Cane showing his real face by cheating on Lily or something, but having him act like a little puppy in love is just stupid. I don't like it. For now, I'm just glad that Lily had only one appearance this month. Hopefully they won't try to make up for her absence during the first 7 episodes of this month.

Same here. I'm disappointed that she's actually straddling him while he's passed out because that's date rape, no? Although the jazzy music was supposed to hint at something more comedic. <_<

Thing is, I think EH and her character would be such an asset on Y&R. I don't watch AMC so I'm not familiar with her work on that show -- I just like her as Chloe and the fact that she has massive chemistry with pretty much every person she shares a scene with (including Jill, her would-be mentor). Even the hate chem between Cane and Chloe -- if he hadn't gotten so drunk, they could have gone down the "spectacular hate sex" road.

Or even had nothing happen between them but Chloe lets Cane believe that something did... I don't know. I'm just bummed that two characters I really enjoyed have been devalued in some way via a rushed plot point.

You know, I didn't mind Gloria and Jeffrey when the first began sparring but I am really over them now. OK, congratulations. You are over 50 and have back-breaking sex. Please go and enjoy it somewhere were I don't have to hear you refer to it. Oh, and Gloria needs to tone down that witch's cackle and the open-eyes kissing.

Shock. I liked Phyllis today. She was plotting against Amber so much, she forgot her valley-speak!

I hope there's a chance they could fix this. I loved Hendrickson since she first arrived in Genoa City. I hope they won't eventually throw her under the Lily/Cane bus, although it already seems like they do. She could have done bad things to other characters.

The writers concluded so many LML disasters, but they keep leaving the most disgusting one (Lily/Cane) active. Why is that?

Yup, I don't want to hear about it either. I love Judith Chapman's portrayal of the character, but she scares me every time she kisses someone. It looks like she's about to kill whoever she kisses at the same time.

LOL :D:P:lol:

We don't actually know if she did it... it seemed like she did... but it could also be that she undressed him and went to sleep. He couldn't be THAT drunk not to know if he's having sex.

And Jill was in 2 out of 7 eps this month... NOT good.

Well, then that's good. There's still a chance they won't ruin her character...

I wonder who she has been having sex with... she had no friends when she came to Genoa City and now suddenly she has "booty call" friends...

Karen has been confusing me a lot lately. First it's all okay, and then suddenly she backs away when Neil suggests raising Lily's child. Then she freaks out about that commitment and leaves town... A few weeks later, Neil goes to visit her to ask her back but she refuses... and then changes her mind, but wants to take things slow... then a few eps later she's already sleeping with Neil. She's always so insecure (beginning with the stage fright) and constantly changes her mind. Is it lazy writing? Or are the writers coming up with some sort of a background story for her? I'd love it if they invested more in this character, she's quite boring...

Black widow spiders kill their mates while doing it, don't they? I like JC too in digestible doses but ix nay on of ex say alk tay. Sabrina and Victor limit their "we make sexy time" references (thank GOODNESS), so why should we have to endure talk of G&J's animal stamina?

It's funny how reticent some actors/writers on Y&R still are about the romance/sex aspect of their show. I think Phick were the first couple to really embrace lust/passion in a way I had never really seen on the show before (although Larry & Jill were cute).

But other couples still look stilted and embarrassed. Cane & Lily's "first time" was cringe-inducing in the extreme -- not least because CK was forced to speak French which is obviously a language she is not familiar with (through no fault of her own). And only last week, Sharon & Jack made blushingly uncomfortable reference to "alone time." I swear, I felt as embarrassed as Sharon Case and Peter Bergman obviously did at having to "rush" up the Abbott staircase in their haste to get to a bedroom.

My supposition? They got rid of her when they started to look into bringing Victoria Rowell back.

Then news that VR visited the OLTL set broke.

So then Y&R backtracked and got Nia Peeples back on board. Only they haven't a clue what the hell to do with her. Or any AA character on this show, really.

Yep, I really could have lived without knowing that Gloria is good in the sack. With the fighting storyline ending, what is now on the horizon for Glo/Jeff? I hope they won't let them continue divorcing/marrying... but then what's next for Gloria? Probably Lowell/River storyline or something? I wish they had gone somewhere with the cream fiasco. For a while it seemed like they were going to do something about it, but it's all gone now.

And Lily speaking French before making love to Cane? I am still scarred.

Branco asked VR in this week's column if the Y&R people have approached her yet and she said "No." That's stupid. What are they thinking?

    • Frankly, I think it's dead in the water.
    • Oh, I think Benz would have been all wrong for Kendall.  Terrific actress, but not at all what I'd picture Erica's long-lost daughter to be.
    • In a way, Denise's inability to decide on which college to attend (before deciding to attend her family's alma mater and the college everyone knew she'd be attending anyway) was a clear signal that the poor girl was a flake and not "college material."  Denise Huxtable was someone who peaked in high school, lol. With guest stars Deborah Adair (ex-Jill, Y&R; ex-Tracy, DYNASTY; ex-Lucy, MP; ex-Kate, DAYS), Christopher Allport (ex-Tim McGowan, AW) and John de Lancie (ex-Eugene, DAYS)! "Frame" is one of those MSW's that you THINK is gonna be paint-by-numbers (no pun intended), and then it surprises you with one of those twist endings that often made episodes so enjoyable. I seriously wish they had gone for a Steven/Bart/Sammy Jo triangle instead, with Steven and Sammy Jo fighting over Bart, lol. And I still think Claudia burning to death at La Mirage was DYNASTY's dumbest cliffhanger. The perfect time to kill off Chase, IMO.  Alas.

    • Spoke with my contacts at Lifetime. As of now, there is nothing to share in terms of updates.
    • Which is still a form of manipulation. Granted it won't work because Ted isn't interested in Leslie at all no matter how much she tries to make him look like a horrible person. When you consider the situation with Hayley it does make sense why Anita would take that approach.
    • Another good one and great episode to start off the week. Confrontations, character moments, movement, and an awful lot of bubbles on display. lol.    I've found myself liking Sara Bibel breakdowns. And this episode might be why. I sense movement of plot going on. And Jazmen being on script duty has already become a highlight for me. So this episode dealing with more fallout from the SilkPress/Eva reveal was another good one. And even got a solid B plot moving in the Vanessa/Doug/Joey storyline...which I just said yesterday...has been the only one of the B plots...that has real build to it so far.    You are not a real soap pariah until you get dragged and a community treats you as such. So basically another old school soap vibe that Eva is giving me. Watching her trying to find her footing only to be read by just about everyone she has encountered has been great. It makes her so rootable. And she's played by an excellent actress. Cuz that quivering lip at the end with her and Anita...ooooo some of you all seem heated for Anita making poor girl cry even though it's her fault. That's great acting. Not to mention writing.    I also love that the side character got their point of view. I loved Mona moving about town trying to get info to avenge Nicole in a way. And she dragged Eva. She read Silk Press Sheila. And that 'enjoy the burn' was well-said. And did I see a spark with Mona and Randy? Hmmm. I don't mind.

I also didn't mind that Martin/Kat scene. I enjoy their sibling relationship so far. And I feel like the right thing to do to keep them close as they support their mother. It even made sense that Martin would soften to the idea of Eva as part of the family given their brief scene at the start of this storyline. Meanwhile, NO from Kat. lol. And she's already questioning the DNA test...OF COURSE SHE IS. But again...that avail...her and Eva being the SAME age. Twins. I just felt the writers are really foreshadowing that heavy. Meanwhile, the SilkPress saga is far from over.   I love the parade of Ted Visitors. LMAO!!! I thought Dani vs Ted was pretty good. But I about fell out when Anita walked up in there like old school Sonny Corinthos. And I hollered with Anita wiping the floor with Ted with Dani in the background like Jason Morgan. Watch your step, Theodore. Anita was giving Boss Bitca and I was living.    That said...I didn't like Anita making poor Eva cry. But as was said above...the stuff with Hayley is still too fresh on the Duprees' mind. So sadly understandable, Anita set down the law.    Uh oh. Dani saw Vanessa with Joey. Granted they are not the BFFs, but I do hope that that means we are getting a Dani/Vanessa scene. And I loved that we got another step in the B storyline. Doug fighting (and failing) in his addiction. Meanwhile, Vanessa resisted hers. And Joey did not look happy.    And saying the best for last. I LOVE Nicole vs Silk Press Sheila. Ooooo Nicole got under her skin good. And I loved it. I also hollered at Silk Press couldn't even be fake nice for 5 whole minutes to her. DD did soooooooo good. The body language. The looks. The inflections on just the right words. I LOOOVVVE that confrontation and looking forward to more since she clearly verbally cracked SilkPress's face. Meanwhile, I was just as taken aback at Ted showing up at Silk Press Sheila's place. I also thought it was another fantasy. Nope. And then SilkPress put the moves on him and went just a little more cray cray in the coda.    Just such a great episode.
