I was born the last month of Dwight David Eisenhower's presidency. JFK was next, but I was not quite 3 years old when he was assassinated. The first President I remember was Lyndon Banes Johnson.

I live in "the city" (SF). I lived in Alameda when I first moved to California in 1987. I also lived briefly in Oakland. I used to work in Walnut Creek which is not too far from you.

Well then I wasn't wrong, i thought this thread was about the year you were born I was born in 81, thats what I meant by Carter technically, but really regan because I actually was born in dec. 81.

Yep it was Reagan, ian, and near the end of his term since he left office on 1/20/89

July of '68, so that would make it Johnson, right? Not Nixon?

In any case we moved to Canada in 1970 I believe, and I have dual citizenship (my mom is a Brit-Canadian but my Dad was always American, and I was born on American soil)
