That child needs to be removed from that mother's care and placed with someone else...it is outrageous that this mother behaved this way. I could care less if she was under pressure...you do not equate pressure with abuse to a minor or ANYONE for that matter.

Charge her, book her, convict her, and throw her ass in jail

You don't do that to a child a no matter what kind of pressure you're in. As a parent, you are supposed to be the child's last and utter proof shield against violence and pain, not the cause of it.
