Lets leave David out of this, though. David is TERRIBLE when he's lost in Dixieland. The last thing that David needs is to be tied to Dixie again.

I think the only plausible way to get Dixie back on the show is through David but unfortunetly that would mean sacrificing him and throwing him under the bus. I cant see any other way to explain her being alive though that would make sense within teh context of the show
